3nd European Mortar Summit 2015 in Lisbon
Being in his own country and city it was a pleasure and a special honour for Carlos Duarte, the President of European Mortar Industry Organisation (EMO) and Secretary General of the Portuguese mortar and ETICS association APFAC to welcome a record breaking number of participants and sponsors to the 3rd European Mortar Summit. In 2015 EMO responded to the feedback from previous events with a new concept, hosting for the first time both a technical and business conference as well as a high level congress. The conference and the congress were held on two consecutive days. With the new concept and the great number of registrations expectations were high, both on the organiser’s and the participants’ side. And still, an overwhelming majority confirmed that the 3rd European Mortar Summit was once more a great success!
2nd European Mortar Summit 2013 in Barcelona
It was the second time Ludwig Soukup, the acting President the European Mortar Industry Organisation (EMO) opened the Summit and was happy to conclude that the “European Mortar Summit was a great success!” It was a pleasure for him personally but also for the EMO and its co-organisers to see so many delegates from all over the world visit the conference. They took this unique opportunity to establish new cross-border contacts for future collaboration and came to catch up on the latest research in the field of sustainability. The organisers thank all our sponsors and partners, without whom events like the European Mortar Summit are not possible. The excellent speakers filled the 2nd European Mortar Summit with life! The topics ranged from theoretical questions about trends and challenges of the future to practical answers regarding environmental requirements. The panel discussion offered Gülden Tombas (Kalekim), Christoph Dorn (Knauf Gips KG), Robert Schmid (Baumit Group), Frank Reichle (Wacker Chemie AG) and Manel Guillem Ballesteros (Cements Molins) the possibility to voice their positions and views about the demands towards politics and associations.
